Mr. Cain's Class Wax Museum

This year for Black History Month, Mr. Cain wanted to do something a little different to teach his students about important African American figures in history.  His class decided to do a Black History Month Wax Museum project.

During the month of February, Mr. Cain’s 5th and 6th grade students researched famous African American people throughout history.  For their Wax Museum project, each student had to choose one influential African American figure that they would transform into. To bring authenticity to their characters, students dressed up as the person, and they wrote short reports. As normal wax figures would, students stood as still as statues, until someone pushed their small talk button, which brought them to life.
