Business and Industry Fair
On the morning of Thursday, October 19th, Mr. McIltrot and Mrs. Gibson took the 10th grade class to the Cathedral to attend the Lawrence County Business and Industry Fair, hosted by the Lawrence County School to Work Program. Students had the opportunity to hear one of the country's top young speakers, Arel Moodie, present on student success and leadership. Afterwards, students participated in Job Jeopardy to test their employability, and then were given time to visit and question over 20 local businesses and manufacturers. This was a great opportunity for our students to learn about, explore, and discover future career possibilities!
