Caught in the Act

We are featuring students who were "caught in the act" of doing something nice for others!  Last week Mykell Gordon and Juliana Evans made a special effort to include a new student, Isiah Bundy, with them at lunch. Way to make us NC Proud, Mykell and Juliana!

 
 
 
 
 
We are featuring students who were "caught in the act" of doing something nice for others! This is Kaitlyn Smith, an 8th grader who has taken a new student under her wing. Mrs. Ondako reports that Kaitlyn has, without being prompted, helped acclimate him to classroom procedures, shown him around, and sat next to him regularly to help him with assignments. She has even reached out to teachers if she felt he was having a hard time catching up. Way to make us NC Proud, Kaitlyn! 
 
 
 
 
We are featuring students who were "caught in the act" of doing something nice for others! Mrs. Senchak reports that Logan Holmes took it upon herself to help a fellow student in an arm cast; as it is his writing arm, he is having difficulty.  Without hesitation, she grabbed his notebook, took his notes, and colored his pictures!  In addition, Logan helped him write answers to his lab and all other work.  Way to make us NC Proud, Logan!
 
 
 
 
 
We are featuring students who were "caught in the act" of doing something nice for others! Officer Holmes reports that Yownique Daniels lends a helping hand in the cafeteria to both the students and staff on cafeteria duty during 5th period lunch. Yownique helps dismiss the students by table and helps make sure that the students are leaving in an orderly manner. Yownique is also assisting Officer Holmes occasionally in the mornings at the metal detector. Way to make us NC Proud, Yownique! 




We are featuring students who were "caught in the act" of doing something nice for others! This is Justin Hazenstab, an 8th grader who stopped to help his teacher. Mr. Lubin reports that after a binder full of lesson plans and worksheets fell from Mrs. Ondako's podium, Justin immediately got out of his seat and helped pick it up and organize the scattered papers. Way to make us NC Proud, Justin!




We are featuring students who were "caught in the act" of doing something nice for others!  This is Darryl Brandon, a 7th grader who stopped to help another student. Mr. Panchik reports that during 2nd period, Hailey came to class and dropped her books/folders all over the floor. Without any hesitation, Darryl came to the rescue and helped her pick up and organize her school work. Way to make us NC Proud, Darryl!

This is Hannah Farone, an 8th grader who purchased a 3 subject notebook and folder for a fellow student in her science class. She discreetly gave it to her teacher to provide to the fellow student without being identified. Way to make us NC Proud, Hannah! 


 


We are featuring students who were "caught in the act" of doing something nice for others! This is Brady Zook, a 7th grader who was caught holding the doors open for students as they entered the school in the morning. Way to make us NC Proud, Brady!

 
 
We are featuring students who were "caught in the act" of doing something nice for others! This is Donelle Jones, a 7th grader who, without being prompted, collects all of the lunch trays for the other students at his table every day. He throws away the trash and returns the trays with a smile on his face! Way to make us NC Proud, Donelle!
