Friday, March 13, 2015 marked the fourth annual Digital Learning Day.  Started in 2012, Digital Learning Day has provided a nationwide platform for promoting great teaching practices with technology and showcasing the innovative ways teachers, administrators, and educational leaders are integrating programs and effectively using technology to enhance student learning.

Throughout NCASD, Digital Learning Day was celebrated with school-wide broadcasts of videos from NetSmartz.org promoting the importance of being a good digital citizen. Additionally, teachers and staff were encouraged to take a "technology risk" and utilize technology in a new way.

To learn more about Digital Learning Day or to watch how teachers, school leaders, and district teams across the country are successfully implementing digital learning strategies for the twenty-first century, please visit http://www.digitallearningday.org/
