The Logic Reason Argument class taught by Mr. Rigby recently attended a 2-day Mock Trial Competition at Penn State University to present the case of The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania v. Addison Booker on January 13th and 14th. The competition consisted of 24 teams and 4 total rounds.
The team was headed by lead council Akirah Kimmel and her co-council, Justin Byers. They were joined by their witnesses Jordan Byers (Sam Chestnut), Zack Hoxworth (Detective Jayden Kobayashi), Bethany Ruiz (Robin Lesco), David Jackson (Pookey Thomas), William Hughes (Addison Booker), and Keith Buckenheimer (Phoenix Webb).
Congratulations to New Castle Senior David Jackson for receiving an award for “Outstanding Witness”.
