The New Castle Area School District Robotics Team, established in the fall of 2016, is a group of approximately fifty dedicated high school students working together to design and build a variety of robots for VEX Robotics Competitions. We compete in several competitions throughout the year and are also involved in various community activities. As members of the Robotics Team, students are able to extend their knowledge of engineering principles, mechanics, electronics, programming, computer-assisted drawing, and above all, teamwork.
Support of our team offers many benefits to the community. Local students will have the chance to learn and develop many new skills. They will be learning not only engineering and design skills, but will also be developing leadership, business, public speaking, coaching, and communication skills. We are looking to provide these students the necessary skills to become the next leaders in our community and beyond.
