Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! I hope you have had a nice, relaxing summer and are excited to start the new school year. This is a very exciting year for students, as they transition to the Junior High 6th Grade. This year is starting off a little different, as students will be learning virtually; however, I am confident that our 6th grade students will have a wonderful school year. Throughout the summer our teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare for virtual learning. We truly have a team that is caring and innovative, as they work to provide our students with new learning opportunities!
As always, the mission of the New Castle Area School District is to meet the safety and academic needs of our students. Please take a moment to read through the information, procedures, and policies on our website, www.ncasd.com, and posted in your child’s Google Classrooms. Please continue to check the district website for all updates. Also, please review the WELCOME BACK LETTER mailed to you regarding the start of the 2020-2021 school year and virtual learning in the 6th Grade.
I believe that student success is attributed to the partnership and the relationships we build within our community. Education is a joint venture and I greatly appreciate the support you provide for your children at home and at school to help them meet their goals. I have enjoyed meeting many of you over the years and I look forward to a continued partnership to work together for our students. If you have any questions throughout virtual learning or throughout the school year, please contact us. Again, I look forward to a tremendous year, working together to make the 2020-2021 school year the best school year yet!
